We've come to the end of the guide! You should now be well-equipped to conquer FIFA98: RTWC. The guide is, of course, far from complete, and can only be done if you give me your feedback. Tell me your original tactics, tell me your problems, and I'll respond. Else, you may wish to try these excellent sites for further information.

Sites are also rated:
5 stars: Must see
4 stars: Should see
3 stars and below: Won't appear on this site, sorry.

FIFA 98 sites

  • FIFA98 Online - the best site out there. Comprehensive, very-frequently updated. Includes many stunning replays you must sample, and a message board to air your views. Includes also info on World Cup 98, FIFA Soccer Manager, and has tons of customised stadia, jerseys, teams and other paraphenalia. 5 stars
  • FIFA 98 Zone - another excellent site, in many ways identical to the first site, but it contains a strategy section, which hopefully will fill up soon. Also contains a webboard. Also, a quiz to test your knowledge of FIFA98, with some particularly rankling questions set by me! 4.5 stars
  • FIFA98 Forum - go there to discuss your tactics and strategies. 5 stars
  • Guy Saner's site - he wrote the FIFA96 and FIFA 97 FAQs. Pretty useful site, which includes a multiplayer database. 4.5 stars
  • Planet FIFA98 - site maintained by a Brazilian. Still in it's infancy, but has the 'makings of a very good site' (to paraphrase Motson) 4 stars
  • Football Quest - in search of the ultimate soccer game! Hmm...interesting. 4 stars

General football sites

  • Soccernet - the place I get all my news from. Covers England, Scotland, Europe, the World and the World Cup. Updated very frequently, but slightly English-biased. 5 stars
  • Football.Guardian - the Guardian's '110%' Premiership page. Very English in nature, but has some extremely interesting sections, like animated gifs of goals, and other assorted asides, besides the usual columns, reviews and stuff like that. 4 stars
  • Guardian AllTalk - highly recommended discussion board, from the Guardian website above. I go there daily. Issues range from football anecdotes to the competence of Mark Lawrenson to Colombia's chances in the World Cup. Just behave yourself there. 5 stars
  • The Mighty Reds - all right, I am biased, but this site really contains every single bit of information possible on England's most successful team, Liverpool FC, who, BTW, have won 18 league titles. Man Utd, despite all their recent successes, have only won 10! So there. UPDATED: Oh, and they're not going to win it THIS season either! So there! 5 stars
  • TeamTalk - weird rumours abound here. All the latest gossip from your favourite English clubs. 4 stars
  • Rete! - A huge Italian site, full of pictures of the latest games, AND movie downloads. You absolutely MUST see 1) Roberto Carlos' free kick for Brazil against France, 2) Roberto Carlos' touchline goal for Real Madrid against Tenerife. 4.5 stars
