Rock/Alternative Music
Black Magic's personal favorite type of music
There is no really good way to describe Rock/Alternative music,
basic rock/alternative bands have drums, guitars, bases and
whatever else you can find.
Many radio stations play Rock/Alternative, there is probably
at least one in each city. If your local stations don't play
rock/alternative music, you can still listen to it on the internet
with Real Audio. Here are a few
of the radio stations that I've found on the internet, with a short
description.
- Z-rock
- This is a very good radio station, they play your basic alternative,
and your harder rock too. From Miami I think.
- 92five
- This is an excellent, though somewhat busy station with less hard rock than z-rock and more mid-90s alternative.
- The X
- This is a good alternative station from Birmingham, Along with good alternative music they play a bit of lighter rock.

- The Buzz
- Also a very good station, thay play lots of good music. From Houston.
Countdowns
There are many coundowns to find out what's hot in Alternative music. Here are a few:
- Billboard's Top 40 Modern Rock Tracks
- Billboard Magazine is THE chart magazine in the USA. The airplay chart is taken from the United States' modern rock radio stations.
- Alternative Rock World top 20
- Alternative Rock world's countdown only includes rising songs in it's countdown.
- Furious 44
- This countdown is a pretty accurate chart for alternative music in the states.

Canadian Music
I like the music that comes out of Canada, my personal CD collection
is probably at least 40% Canadian. This is a link list of a few Canadian
bands.
