It is actually pretty easy to start your own NerdFest!

All you need is some computers (preferably Pentium class because games just run so much better on them), some network cards (the cheap ones only cost $40), some cables (about $10), and a couple of terminators ($4). The network card that I use is pretty easy to install, and seems to work just fine. It is the Linksys Ether16 card($40). The instruction to install it come with it, its pretty easy. There are some BNC T's that come with the ethernet cards, so put these on. Next, you need to get some RG-58, 50ohm cables with BNC ends. A ten foot cable is usually about $10. Use this to hook the computers together. On the other ends of the T's with the computers on the ends, you need BNC, 50 ohm terminators. Run the network drivers that come with the card and you are ready to go. Just load the game and select an IPX network. I know that I didn't explain this very well, so if you have any questions, just e-mail me.

- The Card I use.

If you do start a NerdFest!, please tell me, It would be pretty cool.
