BATTLE PLANS:

Soviet Plans: This scenario is "simple": delay for a turn or two and then run like hell to exit your squads off board by the end of turn 7. I hope to keep the Finns off hexrow "W" for two turns, possibly 3. If I can hold or slw the Finns for 2 or 3 turns while falling back in stages I should be in a position to block the Finns from exiting on turn 7 and dash a couple of squads off durign my player turn. The HIP units are located well back of teh front line since the SSR allows me to setup "Anywhere South of row AA." He may be cautious in the initial turns looking for the hidden units only to be burned by fire from the MMG when he's making his final dash to meet the vistory conditions.

Finnish Plans: The Finns are set well forward to lay down covering fire for the advance with "killer stacks: in CC5 and CC6. A third "killer stack" is set back in DD2 to gain concealment at the start of the scenario. It looks like this will be a reserve force that will try to retain concealment in the early moves. The Finns' deployment of 2 squads into half squads represent a mobile force designed to draw off some of my Defensive First Fire shots.
