  1. Burning Rubber:Basic Tips to Gain Speed
    1. Banshee Boardwalk is a very demanding track, and success will only come when you have formed an accurate mental map of the course. Anticipating the turns is key, as some of them come up on you very fast.

    2. Be cautious when taking the turns on which there are no fences to stop your fall into the water. If the inside fence is missing, then take the turn a little wide, and vice versa (unless of course you are taking a short cut and are jumping over an intersection of two pieces of track.)

    3. The s-curve is one of the nastiest areas of track found in the game, especially if you are playing on a 13 inch Candle TV which saw its best days a few decades ago. To get through unharmed, start the left turn a little earlier then you start most turns. Doing this allows you to straighten out your kart in time for the right turn which comes quickly after.

    4. Save any mushrooms or stars for the straightaways. The s-curve is even more unmanageable with a star activated.

    5. Save any bananas or fake item boxes either for the turn before the ghost house entrance, or for the s-curve. Placing items in these two spots ensures that the item will be used to its maximum effectiveness.
