Multiple "Mini Turbos". It is absolutely crucial to do a series of short, quick turbo powerslides on both the first turn, and on the final turn before the finish line. On turn 1, a good number of powerslides to aim for is 4, but be careful not to take a detour into the sand. On the long final turn, you should probably shoot for 5,
but if you are in a battle for position and in danger of being pushed into the sand, adjust this number downwards accordingly (you should always be able to do at least 2).
The right line. On this track, more than any other, following the right line is key. To get an idea for the best line, take a look at the route the Luigi ghost takes (especially
how he enters and leaves the tunnel). If you stay as close to the inside lane as possible and slide out of the tunnel so that your slide ends on the inside lane, your times will certainly improve.
(Time Trials only) Where to use the three mushrooms...
There are two schools of thought on that question:
One mushroom per lap. If you take a look at where the Luigi ghost uses his mushrooms, you'll notice that he uses one each lap, and always on the slight incline as he's leaving the tunnel. If you are going
neck and neck with him through the tunnel, and you don't use a boost, he will inevitably gain a lot of time on you, so saving your boosts for this turn is a good idea. BUT..
All three mushrooms on one lap. If, instead of turbo-sliding around the final, sweeping turn, you instead use all three mushrooms and turbo slide around the inside of the turn, you will turn in incredible laps. Without the three turbos, this tip will actually
cause you to loose a few secs, but if you use all three together, hitting the second mushroom just as the first runs out (and the same for the third), you will have in effect taken a better, shorter inside lane around the final turn. Just make sure to get off the sand and back onto the pavement before the third mushroom runs out.
Confirmed Tricks: How to Jump, Slide, and Skid Your Way to Victory
Discovered by Jeos Oreamuno. After leaving the tunnel, approach the section of grass where the brick wall and the grey wall come together (to your left). Using a mushroom, aim your kart at the fourth brick from the left, and jump on contact. If luck is on your side, you will clear the wall and land just before the finish line.

Unconfirmed Tricks:Ie. Rumours Floating About on the Web
On The Luigi Raceway map, you may have noticed that there is a spot on the map where two pieces of track come suspiciously close together. Can this wall be crossed by using the Kalimari Shell Trick?
After leaving the tunnel, can the wall to your left be glitched through?
