The Krosis Imperium (TKI) is an Ultima Online Guild located on the Sonoma Shard. The Krosis Imperium involves itself in the roleplaying aspect of UO. However, roleplaying does not mean that the guild does not engage in PvP (Player vs. Player) activities and PvM (Player vs. Monster) activities. Quite the opposite, roleplaying often incorporates these two enjoyable aspects of UO. The difference is that roleplaying adds storyline to PvP and PvM activities. The Krosis Imperium doesn't only participate in roleplaying activities, but also plays an active role in creating roleplayng storylines. The Krosis Imperium has developed and executed a large number of roleplaying events. To learn more about these events visit the Quests Section. Additionally, TKI has internal events solely for guild member participation. These events range from contests to dungeon crawls and others. The Krosis Imperium's major mission is to become an integral part of the Sonoma Community. Achieving this goal is very difficult and demanding, but at the same time is very enjoyable. The Krosis Imperium has already made great progress towards this primary goal and continues to make progress every day. The Krosis Imperium is a veteran guild on Sonoma and as such has a very good feel in the pulse of the Sonoma Community. Already, The Krosis Imperium has many friends and allies (both official and unofficial). With the help of devoted, honorable, and trustworthy members, achieving the goal of The Krosis Imperium, to make a difference, will be possible.
The Krosis Imperium has a very loose command structure. Members of The Krosis Imperium are arranged according to a ranking system. These ranks are traversed in order with each progressive level signifying a higher status within the guild. Progression through the ranks is based primarily on experience, loyalty, and participation. In addition to rank, TKI also has numerous medals that can be earned by members of TKI. These medals are given by the Emperor and are simply a system of honors for guild members. The ranking order in TKI is not the same at the command structure. In other words, an Imperialite does not automatically have the right to give orders to an Initiate. The command structure is centered around the Emperor. He/she might give responsibilities to other members which may include command over certain guild members. Furthermore, communication is greatly encouraged within TKI. The Emperor's job is to ensure that everyone's voice is heard and that everyone is able to prosper within TKI. If a person has an issue, then it is in the interests of the entire guild that this issue is discussed and resolved.
TKI believes that all things should be done with a purpose. Many times this purpose is enjoyment; and other times this purpose is to prosper. There are many reasons for the actions that we take; however, the best actions are those done for enjoyment and for prosperity. The Imperium believes that everyone in the world of Ultima should be able to live a life of adventure, wealth, and fantasy. This is what we spread and this is what we try to achieve. We believe a deeply woven and rich storyline and plot is a must for people to enjoy Ultima. We hold no loyalties to Lord British or Blackthorn nor to the virtues, this is because we allow our members to believe what they feel is right and follow whoever they think makes the best decisions.
The history of TKI is a very long one. At this time Emperor Krosis is beginning to compile this history into a series of tomes. These tomes will start from the very beginnings of the Imperium up to the current day. For now only a basic overview of events is needed. The first Emperor of TKI was Emperor Krosis the first. He became ruler of a far off land and brought peace, prosperity, and knowledge to the people. After his death a new Emperor was appointed by the scholars of the Imperium. This Emperor, upon taking the thrown changed his name to Krosis becoming Emperor Krosis II. This pattern continued for many years. The current Emperor is Emperor Krosis XXXII. The current Emperor Krosis was eventually driven away from his kingdom when monsters began to invade the land. They looted the cities and overwhelmed Krosis's massive armies. In the Battle of Relmat over 50,000 casualties were sustained, the army could not stop the monsters army of over 200,000. The royal family as well as the remaining townsfolk from the capital city of Krosium were forced to flee when the beasts reached their city walls. Boats were cast out that day. Great storms battered the entire fleet. As far as anyone knows, Krosis was the sole survivor. Krosis washed ashore near the city of Britain with little more than the clothes on his back. Still Krosis did not forget his generosity nor his beliefs. Krosis has made it his job to discover a way to destroy the beasts that are already encroaching upon this land. He is making preparation and recruiting members so he may rid the evil from the land. Only with your help can Krosis suceed. And he asks you to join him, for the good of humanity, to save the lifes of countless families, and to gain the praise and glory of all Britannia.
