Road Rash --- 3DO


Road Rash for the 3DO is a great game. The object of the game is to beat the other motorcyclist to the finish by hitting, kicking, useing a wepon or pushing them into traffic. It moves very fast and fluid, un-like Need for Speed on the 3DO. You can upgrade your bike, with your winnings, before you go race, if you don`t have to pay speeding tickets and after a while purchase newer models. You have a health bar telling you how much more you or your opponet have left before you go down. the graphics are great but like most 3DO games have pop-up, it is not noticable since you are paying attention to what`s happening in front, on the sides and behind you at the same time. The tracks get longer as you go thru the game and sometimes the traffic is very heavy, making for "white knuckle driving". With all this going on you also have to watch for cops!! the music is a great addition to the game done by major bands and sets the mood. This game is in the top 5% for the 3DO. A must have!!
