Utilities are small programs that can be used with Civilization II to make it better. Some make CivII more fun, some make it easier to use, and some let you cheat !! Patches are add-ons to civ2 that improve the game. It can be new versions of the game, new ways of playing, new things that have been added on, etc. Here I have a couple patches and utilities for you to enjoy:

Patch 2.42	Unknown	730Kb	This is a patch that updates your Civ2 to the 2.42 version. It includes some improvements to the autosettlers, some fixed civilopedia bugs, and much more!.
Modpack Manager	Matt McLeod	8Kb	C2MM provides a simple interface to any modpacks you may have, making it easy to switch between them. If you don't have the Scenario CD, YOU MUST HAVE THIS UTILITY! If you do have the Scenario CD, this program would not be very useful.
Civ2 Rules Editor	Aaron Burton	247Kb	This is a great utility that gives you a graphical interface to editing the Cosmic, Civilizations, Improvement, Wonder, Units, Terrain and Government sections for the rules.txt file. Also displays the unit's GIF image and allows simple cut and paste of images. Great job Aaron!
Spanish Version of Civ2	Eduardo Ahumada	65Kb	This is a translated version (Spanish) of the Civ2 .txt files. Everything (adv. tree, menus, advice, etc), except the Civilopedia has been translated. It is not for use with the Fantastic Worlds CD!
Multiplayer Civ2	Guillaume Jay	338Kb	This is the Patch you have been waiting for! It enables you to play Civ2 with other people through internet and modem connections. It is a very good program and even corrects some bugs and adds some new things to civ. Great Job Guillaume!
CivHack v1.5	Stephen Kasenda	14Kb	CivHack is a Civilization hack utility that can edit your saved games and crack the .EXE file.
HiCiv	Igor Galyavov	300K	The HiCiV is a usefull utility designed for Civilization II, which keeps watch over your civilization (and the others as well) and writes out your history and gives you all the populations info (population, number of cities, gold, science level) at any time.
CivSaver	Igor Galyavov	150K	This is a simple Civilization theme screen saver. It starts the large series of screen savers devoted to the best turn-by-turn strategic game in the world, Civilization.
