Robert's Thoughts on The Eyes of the Dragon

Well, I thought that overall the novel was great, but there were some good things and some bad things about it. First of all, Stephen King seems to have a bad habit of telling the reader how the story is going to be later on in the story. In some ways, it leaves out alot of the mystry in the novel, but if you look at it another way, I guess that it would make the reader want to find out more about about the topic, keeping their interest. As this novel being one of the few of his that I've ever read, I think that Stephen King definately has an awesome way of writing books so he can keep a readers interest even while writing about the most boring of all subjects.

In the story itself, I thought there was a lot of suspence throughout the story, but the beginning was a little boring. Things started to really pick up once Flagg started to take action, for example, when Flagg got Anna Crookbrows to make an fatal blood wound while Sasha delivered Thomas. It was also neat when Flagg conjures the deadly wine with the dragon sand in it, and when he gets the spider venom. He definately has a thing for poison anyways.
