May 16,1996:Activision, Inc. has showcased an impressive line-up of new games at the E3. Among the titles introduced will be TWO new real©time 3-D networked games, HyperBlade and Interstate '76; the company's latest title for the Sony Playstation and Sega Saturn game systems, Blast Chamber, the highly anticipated action-adventure title from acclaimed multimedia producer Frederic Raynal ("Alone in the Dark", "Relentless"),Time Commando; and a unique interactive murder mystery, The Elk Moon Murder.
New Titles which were showcased at the E3 are:
HyperBlade (Win 95,MS-DOS,PSX):A fast-action sports game. Its one of the first real-time multi-player futuristic sports titles. Featuring vivid 3-D graphics, outstanding gameplay and sensational sound design, the game combines the hard-hitting action of hockey, soccer, lacrosse and speed skating.(Aval.Aug 96 PC-CD. Interstate '76 (Win 95 CD): '70s funk grooves onto Interstate '76. A new first©person 3-D combat-simulation game. Players face off against a gang of auto mercenaries intent on destroying the largest oil reserve in the US. Players can choose more than 25 vehicles armed with dozens of customizable weapon systems as they embark on more than 25 real-time missions. High-quality production values, photo-realistic environments and texture mapped surfaces. (Aval.October)
Blast Chamber (PSX,Saturn, and Win 95): A unique action game set in a rotatable 3-D cube, Blast Chamber allows up to FOUR players to challenge each other. You must stay one step ahead of your opponents as they maneuver their character through an intricate maxe of obstacles, obtain control of a crystal and place it into the appropiate transmitter before a deadly time bomb strapped to their character is triggered.
