You stand within the library of the former Army of Angmar, a place of knowledge and learning. Surprisingly, this room seems to have remained untouched by the looting and destruction which has desecrated so much else of this once-proud fortress. Perhaps that has something to do with the feeling of cold and terror that emanates from the spectre in the corner, guarding the knowledge within this room?

Book shelves line the walls of this room, filled with seemingly random piles of ancient manuscripts, books, tomes, pamphlets and scrolls of all shapes and sizes. These contain the sum total of the knowledge built up over many decades by the Army of Angmar, left here for the benefit of future generations of soldiers.

You sense that the spectre will not let you browse through the contents of this library. The spectre will however give you access to certain scrolls if you ask for them by name:

When you grow too scared of the spectre you may enter the Council room to the west.
