This is the former Council room of the Army, a room where soldiers once gathered to elect their representatives in Council and where deliberations were made on the fate of those who transgressed against the laws of the Army of Angmar and of the realm of Genesis.

Little remains of the former halcyon days of the Army, and much of the ornate furnishings of this room has been looted or destroyed. There is however a sturdy table in the middle of the room, surrounded by what looks like a magical glow. On this table are a number of vellum scrolls containing information recorded long ago about the enemies of the Army.

If you wish, you can approach the table and read one of the scrolls:

• Gladiator
• Kaheda
• Knight
• Neidar
• Ranger

You could also enter the library to the east, where you can browse through the various books and scraps left by former members of the Army. You could even leave your own writings if you wish.

To the north, a cave-in seems to have completely destroyed the entrance to the secret chambers of the council.

Alternatively, if you know where you wish to head within the halls, you may consult your map of the strong hold to take you straight there.
