You gaze at the portrait before you, showing a squat goblin sitting astride a human-eating warg. The goblin hefts a heavy steel club in one hand, balancing a huge mithril shield in the other. The goblin is wearing a gold edged blood-red badge on his bare chest.

Beneath the portrait is a small sign, stating:

Hawk Torak of the Black Blade, Vicious Captain of the Red Fang, the Feared Lieutenant of the Army of Angmar, Protector of Dark Sorceries, First Assassin.

Hawk was the longest serving member of the Army of Angmar, with a history of notoriety that spanned back to his beginnings.

As a young Footman Hawk fought his first battle, against the gladiator Skull in the port town of Sparkle, coming out victorious with Skull humbled. The first blood on his hands came as an adventurer when a Vampyr foolishly attacked him while he was standing by the statue of Huma in Vingaard Keep. When the Society of Morgul Mages was in its infancy, Hawk was their champion, being the muscle behind their magic, earning him the title of Varyale-Morgul, Protector of Dark Sorceries.

Hawk was once a barrel-chested muscular human, but was transformed by his sorcerer brother into a form that would serve the Dark Lord better, a Black Uruk. Hawk was among the first Final Judges, serving the longest term amongst them until he finally passed up the position to claim his place as one of the Captain's Lieutenants.

Hawk was also the first of Hiddikul's minions, being the first to join the Cabal, and the first to assassinate an opponent with a backstab. He proclaimed himself first assassin of Genesis, an apt title as many have found out.

Hawk has been in many fights and caused many deaths, and has received two scars himself that he proudly displays to any who care. His fondest moments surprisingly include few player deaths, apart from being involved in killing Xar on the docks of Sparkle in the giant player fight in Sparkle between two huge teams, one lead by Monk/Angmar Joshua the other by the Ranger Dracmon with no less than twenty people involved.

A more recent fond memory is locking High Clerist Kuti and his Ranger friend in with the Tessto wielding Half-Ogre, after stealing the key off their team member Tanthalis and then practically killing Tanthalis in a great display of thuggery. Kuti had to gem home and the Ranger quit to escape the Half-Ogre, much to their annoyance and Hawk's amusement. Because of this incident, Hawk was declared an enemy of the Knighthood.

Hawk is also a permanent enemy of Calia, after slaying a few of their number, and being involved in a major assault on their palace, leading to the death of their mighty guardian Hurn as well as all the palace's occupants, and a Calian warrior of no consequence.

Hawk has a mild disliking of Dragons.
