Mario Kart 64 may not be due our for another month but in many places it is already sold out though in many stores. Mario Kart is due to be released on February 17 but presale tickets have been selling for some time. The stores I have gone to have already sold out their allotment of the game already. If you haven't reserved your copy yet, you might not be out of luck because some stores do not presell their games. Also on the day of the release go to the stores at opening to hopefully get your hands on this hot item. And what a hot item, I have seen this game going for up to $100 dollars at a few stores. While that may be outrageous, people seem to be putting up the cash for the Super Nintendo game gone 64-bit. But luckily the game in most stores is not that high and in many places the game is retailing for $69.99. The game released in Japan in December and sold out in the same day. The Japanese version of the game released with a special controller but unfortunately that won't happen with the US version. Even without the new controller though the game is still going to be worth saving your money for. No matter what the price of the game, this game is going to go fast and going to be gone for along time like many of the other Nintendo 64 games are now.
