ABOUT M'LADY TARA

Here's a little something about me. My name is Karen. I come from the great state of Texas and am currently living in The Netherlands with my brand new husband, Marco. We just got married 03-03-03. You may be wondering why/how a Texas girl is living in the Netherlands. I met Marco via the internet and made the big decision to move.

I have 3 wonderful children and one adorable grandson. My oldest son is Joe and he lives in Austin, Texas. My only daughter, Lyn, is assistant manager at a McDonald's and lives in Temple with her husband and son. My youngest son, Travis, is living in Temple as well. He lives with his father and is also working at McDonald's.

I love to read--mostly Historical Romances, but also mysteries. I like to knit, crochet and cross-stitch when ever I can find patterns in English. I've learned to speak and write in Dutch, but it's still very difficult.

This is my favorite painting--- Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. I hope to see the real thing one day, along with other Van Gogh paintings. I have been able to see many Van Gogh paintings in Amsterdam since I've been living in The Netherlands, but I haven't yet seen Starry Night. I think it's in a museum in England, so I hope to get there one day.
