Here is a list of the various character classes of Moranann:
- Warrior
- Fighter
- Guardian(kit): an enforcer of the Council of T'aKennoq; they use their anger in combat to make themselves better fighters
- Bladedancer(kit): a student of the near-perfect fighting style of the ancient Desert Sstthh protectors; they do not fight with savegry or brutality, but with deadly grace
- Ranger
- Paladin
- Sacrenuvel(kit): lawful evil version of the Paladin
- Racial Paladin(kit): various races have their own types of paladins; the abilities may be somewhat different, but they must always be that race's general idea of ultimate good
- Seeker of Truth*: a warrior with a special adamantite sword who serves Raz'DauhaMma, the human god of truth, and light
- Nature's Child: a warrior that protects Nature and serves the Druids, they are often mistaken for werebeasts because of their special shapechanging ability
- Qualiower: ancient order of protectors, in taking up the cause, they seperate themselves from their souls; they have no emotions and they do not age or sleep
- Wizard
- Pattyrn Mage: normal AD&D mage
- Pattyrn Specialist: normal AD&D specialist wizard
- Pattyrn Master: a specialist's specialist; has total acess
to 1 School of Magic and access of up to 3rd spell level in the
two adjacent Schools of Magic
- Technomancer: a magic user that has tied his magic into
mechanical and technological devices; without these devices he
cannot use any of his magic; their magical items are much easier
to use by non-magic users since they usually only require pushing
buttons, turning knobs, and flipping switches
- Renegade Mage: fleeing from the Pattyrn Wizards, uses the
Mana Point Magic System for mages (http://beastie.cs.und.ac.za/~sefton/Realms/Magic/General/mana2.htm)
- Renegade Specialist: fleeing from the Pattyrn Wizards, uses the Mana Point Magic System for specialists (same address as above)
- Wild Mage: Tome of Magic rules
- Nexus Mage*: they use a different type of magic (Nexus Magic, as opposed ot Pattyrn Magic; it uses effects and Wizard's Webs), less restrictive and occasionaly more powerful, it doesn't always work and there's the matter of backlash, which _really_ hurts, Nexus Magic is divided into two halves, Additive and Subtractive, the former being used by Good and the latter being
used by Evil
- Nexus Specialist: they specialize in one of the Paths of Nexus Magic
- Nexus Master: specialist's specialist of Nexus Magic
- Negamage: some members of the races are born with a the need to consume magical energy and have developed negative spell-like abilities; they are any wizard or cleric's worst nightmare.
- Priest
- Cleric: servant of one of the gtreat Foces (not deities) of the multiverse.
- Priest of Specific Mythos: there are an almost unlimited number of gods in Moranann, so these are by far the most numerous of the priestly classes, this includes Druid
- Heathen Priest: priest that worships a god that does not exist (a rare thing in Moranann) or a priest that has fallen from grace
- Rogue
- Thief
- Assassin(kit): most assassins belong to one of three assassins' guilds on Moranann: Drushtuv's Hand (LE), The Brotherhood of Silence (NE) or The Black Dagger (CE)
- Handler: only Kenders can be handleres; they take what interests them, without realizing that they are breaking the laws; if they wern't so innocent, they'd be hanged at least twice a day
- Bard: they can use either the normal magic system or the Mana Point Magic System
- Balladier: basicaly the same as bards, but they can't use any magic
- Shadow Walker: an evil warrior for the side of good; they
are evil because the methods they use are considered too extreme
and brutal even by the most chaotic good, also they can heal
themselves onlyby harming others, and are at a disadvantage in
any bright light
- Other
- Psionicist
- Psionic Specialist: a psionoicist who specializes in a
particular Discipline
- Psionic Master: a psionicist that studies and practices a
particular Discipline to the exclusion of all others
- Confessor*: a powerful magically endowed servant of
Ras'DauhaMma whose touch han bind a person's mind and soul until
death
- Riftling: an altered human from a demiplane accidentily created by the Pattyrn Wizards as a prison camp before the Time of Wrath; all Riftlings have 6 levels of Rifter Powers (and a mental or physical deformity with each Power, unless another Porwer level is used to cancel out the deformity). They hate Pattyrn Wizards with a passion.
- Riftling Warrior: a fighter from the demiplane mentioned
above; they do not have as much power as the other Riftlings, but
they are better at beating the living s**t out of anyone who makes fun of them; they have only 4 levels of Rifter Powers
- Dweomer Child: like Negamages, Dweomer children are members of the races born with special abilities; they have innate magic and so are sought by many since the young ones are relatively helpless (especially when compared to most monsters with innate magic). This class only goes up to third level. The three "follow-up" classes (listed below) start at fourth level.
- Dwomerwen: they are one form of a mature Dwomer Child; they look slightly more anamalistic than their normal racial counterparts, but still retain all of their mind; most are good and extermely few are evil.
- Shadeling: this is the balance struck between the Dweomerwen and the Darkwen; their inner darkness gives them greater strength, but it does not control them. Their neutrality is what keeps them from snappig; they must be careful lest they fall into the abyss that the Darkwen already reside in (the few who become good tend to deny their evil side and so it overtakes them, and those who embrace evil tend to go farther than they intended; either way, they become Darkwen fairly quickly).
- Darkwen: these are what happen whan a Dweomer child becomes dark, evil, and twisted upon reaching maturity. Their darkness is immediately apparent in their twisted bodies, warped minds and glowing red eyes; the two or three in recorded history that have remained good quickly lost all sanity.
* The ideas for the Seeker of Truth, Nexus Mage/Specialist/Master & Nexus Magic and Confessor came from the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind(Wizard's First Rule, Stone of Tears, Blood of the Fold, and Temple of the Winds)
