CD Combos
14 Slash Super Death Combo
The 14 slash move (The button combo CD AABBCCABCCCCC) use is up to the players' discretion. Since they are the same for most characters, substitute the medium slash with the combo starter CD in combat and there will be a lot more chances for it to be executed. Although the damage is not impressive, the POW gained from it is well worth it. With the POW gained, incorporate it into your 14 slash move the next time you execute it. Other moves can be used to interrupt it for more damage, or when your power gauge is gone after a rage explosion and you cannot gain POW if you finish the combo. Interrupt the CD combo on the 12th slash for a move, the 13th slash thus being the move hit itself.
Start this combo before time runs out and you can continue doing this all the way even when the time counter reach 00.
CD Combo
Combos that start (other than the 14 slash) after the CD slash are basically followed up by a AAA, ABC, or BBC slash. The CD BBC combo can be coupled with the Super consecutively before the opponent drop to the ground from the combo. These characters are:
- Ukyo Slash / Bust,
- Haohmaru Bust,
- Shizumaru Bust
- Genjuro Slash / Bust,

- Hanzo Slash / Bust,
- Charlotte Slash (corner)/ Bust,
- Kyoshiro Slash / Bust,
- Amakusa Slash / Bust,
- Kazuki Slash,
- Rimururu Bust (corner only),
- Jubei Bust.
The above characters can also substitute the 13th slash of their super death combo with their Super.
Other moves allowed after the CD BBC combo are:
- Gaira: (Slash) CD BBC,

+ A / B;

Then, the CD BBC move can also be comboed with the Dash of Dash move (or otherwise known as Death move or Issen), used just before the opponent falls and touch ground - doing it immediately after the BBC combo will make you bypass the character, unless you are facing the opponent in the corner.
The following characters with close range Supers can replace the last A / C slash of the CD AAA, and ABC combo with their Super, thus changing it into CD AB+ Super or CD AA+ Super.
- Ukyo Slash / Bust,

+ D, and repeat; (When disarmed) Punch then

When trying to do infinite combos which will need a move to interrupt the basic 14 slash combo, the move will be easier to execute if the stick goes back to the neutral position in the centre after a few slashes - The stick does not have to be pushed forward throughout the whole combo.
