1. Elf Woods: Head off to the right side of the first map and continue past the badgers into the next area to meet Slick Junior III. Talk to him and then head right and up the first ladder, and then left to find Slick again. Talk to him, and then climb up the ladder. Head to the top-right area to find the exit to the next area. The sign at the beginning reads "Elf Village ahead. Enter next hole!" Drop into the hole to enter Slick's village.
Chests: Cherry.

2. Elf Village: Talk to the guards and visit the shops. As you exit the town talk to Namo, and afterwards you'll be at the top-left of Elf Village. Go to the top-right to find the entrance to the next area, and keep heading right to find Elf Mountain.
Healing Shop: Amulet, orange, cherry.
Weapon Shop: Leather Mail, Wooden Shield.

3. Elf Mountain: Don't stand below the enemies because they will drop rocks on you. To get the first chest, you must run and jump off of tallest, furthest left ledge, which is right next to a door. Hold left after jumping and then right as you are about to land, swing your sword to keep from bouncing off. To get another chest, drop through the cliff to the right of the longest bridge. Climb back up and go into the left door. (You will come back to the door on the right later in the game.) Speak with Tatto. After talking with him, climb up the ladder Chests: Orange, and Elixyr.
