The state of play.Follow the history of Javasaw through the ages. Note: If the date is in the future just remember Australia is ahead of the rest! See the time in Melbourne.

The Source. If I'm lazy the source may be out of date with the current applet version! Use and enjoy.

The future.I'm going to remove the solution grid and allow pieces to connect to each other how a jigsaw should work.Might consider 'proper' shaped pieces but this is a lot of work and makes the applet bigger. Now that Javasaw is a featured site at GeoCities I have more disk space so I intend to create a page for kids with kiddie type images. Now if Disney would only let me use their images Javasaw could really become popular! Oh well I'll just have to find something else.

My place in the world.Where my city is located. It's really down under.
Maps by My home viewed from space. That's a sports ground on the right containing two ovals with cricket pitches in the middle. |
Feedback.I'd love to hear from you. I'd like to know how this applet was received, did it load correctly, did you finish the puzzle, would you like some new images to solve? And if anyone has some images I could use I'd only be too happy to use them. They have to have a lot of detail with sufficient variation to allow pieces to be distinguished and be suitable for family viewing. Also a landscape format is preferable (you know wider than they are higher). If you are expecting a reply check the time in Melbourne to see if I'm awake. |
