- Batteries:
- Devices used to store energy for use at a later time.
- Celestial mass:
- Any form of matter large enough to destroy a ship if collided
with while going well over 80,000 MPH.
-
- Colonists:
- The Human settlements located on other worlds.
- Combustible fuel supply:
- A source of burnable liquid for use with Earth star ship
engines.
- Engines:
- The devices used to propel space ships through space. Due to
the limited time given for retro-fits, most PSI 5 freighters are
propelled with low class propulsion units with low output
generators. It is expected to take at least three years minimum
to modernize all freighter engines.
- Freighter:
- The ships used by PSI 5 to deliver the food and supplies to
the colonists.
- Gravity vortex:
- The pull/push effect that occurs in the center of The
Gravitron Ring during a ship's launching.
- Gunnery Pods:
- The tiny, self contained arsenal ships that the player
virtually exists in during the game.
- Humanity:
- The Human race.
- Intelligent life forms:
- Any living being (Human's included) capable of thoughts for
more than basic survival of the species and themselves.
- King Neptune:
- (This entry needs verification.) A Mythological God of
{Ancient Greece's oceans}. PSI 5's logo is of his Tri-dent.
- Lasers:
- Quick flashes of hot, tight beams of light used to melt armor
and panels off of targets.
- Life support:
- In use with all space ships to keep the life forms that are
contained within' alive.
- M.D.C.#.:
- Stands for Military Destroyer Class #(Number). A space ready
war ship designed with heavy fire power and blockade ramming in
mind. Equipped with four fighter hangers, twelve fighter craft in
each, sixteen launch tubes, the works for a weapon selection, and
a payload of thirty tri-fusion warhead equipped missiles. A ship
used primarily by the space military of the Earth Alliance.
- M.S.C.:
- Stands for Military Space Cruiser. A space ship designed for
transport of troops and equipment. Equipped with a fighter bay,
six fighter craft, standard layout particle cannon spread, Class
12 shields with independent Class 8 generators giving extra
boosts of power to each shield (when needed), extra thick body
armor plating, and two tri-fusion warhead type missiles. A ship
manufactured for use by the Earth Alliance's space military, but
well known to be sold on the black market for other uses then
those intended to anyone willing to pay the luxurious price for
one.
- Missiles:
- Designed to penetrate shields and deliver the war head to the
hull of the ship.
- MPH rating:
- An ancient Earth measurement used for the measuring of
distance covered in an hour by the amount of miles listed.
- Outer skins:
- The exterior of the ship.
- Pirates:
- The alien life forms who are trying to drive out the colonist
through starvation and terrorism.
- Planetary alliance:
- The sighed treaty allowing for the joining of multiple worlds
in a bond for friendship and commerce amongst said planets.
- Plasma Bolt:
- A weapon of massive assault power. The only weapon that can
punch a hole big enough for the freighter to get through. If it
wasn't for the high demand that it puts on the already stressed
generators, it would make an effective weapon against every
enemy. The answer to powering up the weapon is to slowly leach
power into batteries that the weapon works off of.
- Plasma Rays:
- This weapon attack's the enemy's electrical equipment.
- PSI 5 ports:
- Places where food and supplies could be loaded and un-loaded
onto PSI 5 freighters. Also known for their famous alien cuisines
that were served at their popular fast food chains.
- PSI 5 Trading Company:
- The company that owns the freighter vessels that are used in
the game.
- Repair station:
- The room and area on-board ship that contained spare parts
and the RoboRepair to keep the ship from becoming dead-in-space
due to mechanical failures or battle damage.
- RoboRepair:
- Automated workdroids programmed with mechanical and
electronical repair skills used to deal with problems that may
occur with machinery. Even on themselves. Though, their
personality programs are missing a few Meg's.
- S.S.:
- Stands for Space Shipper. A classification for a cargo ship
used by the PSI 5 Trading Co and other freighter companies for
use in deliveries of food, equipment, medicine, packages, and
other such items that need to go somewhere. In general, these are
primarily commercial vessels.
- Slingshot effect:
- The act of being propelled out of the back side of The
Gravitron Ring at blazing speeds.
- Star Crusher:
- A ship of extreme bulk. It's tonnage weight is over a hundred
thousand tons. Literally, a floating city in space. This design
was conceived of and put into use by the pirates as a sort of
base of operations for every section of pirate claimed space. The
ship is equipped with a super weapon of tremendous power. With
gun doors open, it's able to extinguishing a medium sized star
within' two minutes, and powderizing a PSI 5 freighter in 3.5
seconds. 2.8 for the shields and 0.7 for the armor.
- Star Trek:
- An imaginary place where everything, and yet nothing, can

distances in very short time periods.
- Torpedoes:
- Designed to rip apart physical armor on a ship's hull and
cause structural failure.
- Tri-dent:
