Here is a brief timeline for Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete, for those that want to know more about where it came from.
- 1992
- Game Arts releases "Lunar: The Silver Star" in Japan.
- 1993
- Working Designs translates L:TSS to English for the Sega Saturn.
- 1995
- Game Arts releases the sequel to L:TSS, called Lunar: Eternal Blue, for
the Sega CD in Japan. L:EB is set 1,000 years after L:TSS.
- Fall 1997?
- Working Designs and Sega have a falling-out, and L:SSSC is canned for
release in English on Sega CD.
- January 1998
- Working Designs announces that L:SSSC will be released in August, 1998
on the Sony Playstation.
- May 28, 1998
- Japanese version of Playstation version released.
- 1998
- Game is delayed and delayed, now past Christmas. Problems with video
editing tools and such.
