Pac-Man and Friends
What can I say? That little yellow guy just keeps going around eating everything in sight! You know him. You love him. You're even familiar with the little "wakka-wakka" sound!
I'm 25 years old, and I grew up playing Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Q*Bert, and endless hundreds of other classics. None compare to Pac-Man, though. Nothing is quite as simply addictive. Hey, he's got charisma, class, and a huge following.
He's also successful with the sequels. His games rule! The guy's even got a wife and two kids with their own Mega-PacManny-Cool games. That's five games by 1984! (Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man). The cool cats even had their own Cartoon series, along with their dog (Chomp-Chomp) and cat (Sour-Puss). Grooooovy!
I said I'd have reviews, but bear with me, this page is brand-new! I'll get some reviews rolling out soon, as well as some cool links to PC clones on the Net. Maybe even some mega-cool Pac-Man Photos! How's that sound?
JROK, the man, has made ports of two of these greats, PacPC and MS. PacPC. These ARE the arcade games you remember and love. What's more, he is in the beginning stages of porting over a third in the series...... Jr. PacMan! YESSSSSS!!! There IS a GOD! No ideas on a release date, yet, but I'll let you know.
As always, though I'll have some info on other classic arcade games. They ALL rock, but Pac-Man is the KING! WAKKA-WAKKA-WAKKA-WAKKA!
