- After the SDF-3 departure for Tirol, Anatole Leonard is put in command
of Earth's Forces. Although he is a skilled soldier & brillant tactician,
he is so blinded by his fear for the Robotech Masters; that he is willing
to sacrifice everything to defeat them. Supreme Commander Leonard is unwilling
to negotiate with the Masters for a peaceful solution, unlike General Emerson.
In the end, because of his corrupt personality and his fear for the alien
invaders, the entire Southern Cross, including himself, are destroyed.
