The Macross Saga

The Macross Saga of the odyssy that is Robotech is perhaps the most popular and most memorable of the series. From the anime entitled "Macross", this saga plays out like an animated drama. Plotlines of love; the love triangle involving Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes, and Lynn Minmei. Plotlines of death; the deaths of Roy Fokker and crew members who were close to other characters. Plotlines of war and survival; the neverending battles with the aliens known as the Zentradi. All those plotlines couldn't have been played out without great characters. To me that is what makes the Macross Saga so memorable; the characters and the interaction of theyy had with one another.
