The best way to describe Sean Phillips, is to say he's a "playboy". Chasing women, could be considered his favorite pastime, although it has gotten him into very big trouble. He used to be a first lieutenant and in charge of the 15th squad, until he got caught with the daughter of a high-ranking Southern Cross official. Charismatic as he may be, Sean would eventually fall in love - for real - with Marie Crystal. He would end up saving her from chrashing while piloting her Logan Veritech in batlle; he also visits her, while she's in the hospital, but Marie has a hard time believing that his love is sincere. Even though Sean Phillips leads a spirited life, he still makes a good soldier to have in combat.
