Emperor of the Fading Suns is a turn-based strategy game from Holistic Design and SegaSoft that has SVGA graphics. In this game you control one of five factions battling for control of the Fading Suns Universe. Through political, military, and trading power you try to coerce the other factions to vote for you to be the Regent of the Known Worlds. If you get a majority of the votes, you become regent. If you can keep the Regent position for ten turns, the other factions will submit to your rule, and you win the game. Multiplayer games of up to five people can be played on one computer in hot-seat fashion, or by using a play by e-mail system. Requires: 486/66+, 16MB RAM, DirectX 3.0.

HoverRace is a multiplayer racing game from GrokkSoft that has SVGA or VGA graphics and supports Windows compatible sound cards for sound effects. In this game you race a hover craft with a rocket strapped to the back of it. To steer you just point the craft the way you want to go and use the rocket. Since it's a hovercraft, when you stop using the rocket you will still travel in the direction you were going in for a while. The hovercraft can also jump over obstacles and pits that are in the track. Along with the game comes a utility to make your own tracks. This game was designed for multiplayer only. You can practice controlling the hover craft on your own computer, but there are no computer opponents to race against. Two players can play it on one computer using a split screen.
