3/31/99 -- 1st update in almost a year.  I am mainly updating to remove bad links and to make sure Geocities doesn't delete me.  I am still reviewing new sites submitted to the ring.  Keep em coming.  Check out this great manuals site, thanks to my friend Adrox.

I know its been a while since the last update.  The manual part of emulation hasn't quite taken off like I had hoped it would.  Manual sites are shutting down faster then others are being put up.  I am keeping this place alive because we need someplace to organize the manual sites.  If you have a manual site or just manuals, please contact me or join the webring.

I removed all evidence of emu-land.org.  I really don't know what happened to them.

I added Mario Paint to my manuals page.  The manual is scanned and in JPEG format.

   Emulation and video games are big topics on the internet, with hundreds of sites dedicated to them.  I, myself, grew up playing video games through my childhood in the 80's.  Today's talented programmers, advanced computer systems, and ROM providers have brought the realm of video gaming to the intenet for us to enjoy.  For the first time, we can experience those games that we never played on our old console systems. 

    However, little attention is given to the preservation of video game manuals in the emulation community.  This is why I've decided to create this manual web ring.  Using this webring as a starting place, it is my goal to be able to link you to all of the sites on the internet which house video game manuals.  There, you be able to learn about the new game you just downloaded, or maybe even find a hint for the game you are stuck in.  Manuals are the forgotten aspect of emulation; this site hopes to complete the whole in the emulation community.

While this site may have a Super Nintendo focus, the Webring is in no way strictly dedicated to SNES.
