Chapter 2: The Danger
Brian reawakened again in the obscure world again. “Not again.” he sighed. Suddenly a girl approached him. “Who are you?” she asked. “My name’s Brian.” he replied. “Who are you?” “My name’s Felanya.” the girl said. “Welcome to Lingora.” “Strange name.” said Brian. “Well, what kind of name is Brian?” she answered. “Normal.” “Yeah, right.” “Look, I’d love to keep arguing, but I’d like to know where exactly I am.” said Brian. “I said, Lingora. Where else would you be?” Felanya replied. “Well, there’s Melrode, Dondoran, anywhere else in Celtland.” answered Brian back. “Celtland?” “Look, I can see we obviously don’t know anything of what we’re talking about, so why don’t we go somewhere where we can talk this whole thing over?” “Fine, we’ll go to our town.” “I don’t see a town.” Brian answered, looking around. Felanya pointed and a town appeared right in front of Brian’s eyes! “Oh.” So they walked into town and Felanya led Brian to her home. They sat down and Felanya brewed up a cup of something that looked like tea. “Were you that person that called for help before?” Brian asked. “Called for help?” “I came here before, in a dream, and someone was calling for help.” Brian explained. “Dream?” Felanya asked. “Let’s not get into that. Anyway, who was calling for help?” Brian said, sipping the tea. It was thin, but very sweet. “That was probably someone after the last attack.” “Attack?” “An evil wizard has been terrorizing our town ever since we refused to pay his demand for money.” Felanya explained. “Oh. Well, I-” Brian started. He stopped. “It just me, our is the ground shaking?” “Oh, no! He’s back again!” Felanya yelled. They rushed out the door. Brian saw a large monster resembling a man flying toward the town! “Don’t worry, I’ll just- my staff!” Brian said “Your staff?” “My staff I use to cast magic! It’s gone!” “But you never had a staff.” A raging fireball was heading for the town. “RUN!” someone yelled. Everyone in the town ran. Suddenly Brian noticed something....he could see through his hand, and it was getting fainter every second! “Wha-” He opened his eyes, again in the Melrode Monastery.
