    December 1989: This was my first Sega product. After I saw pics of Alteread Beast and Tommy Lasorda Baseball, I knew I had to have this system. I just loved Super Hang On. I still play it regularly to this day.

    April 1990: I needed an extra conrtol pad to play with friends.

    December 1991: I wanted to have the power base converter because I wanted to be able to play Outrun on my Genesis, and ironically, I found a copy of Outrun for the Genesis in Toys R Us. R-Type really amazed me, with its beautiful graphics and gameplay. I bought Zaxxon just because it was cheap.

    June 1992: I had played Phantasy Star II in a friend's house, so I decided to find out what Phantasy Star was all about.
