What you have to know :

Evil Characters :

To play as the evil version of any character, hold START or SELECT and press any button while selecting them.

In Story Mode :

Note : There is no Story Mode in the Evolution Disk !

If you choose two characters from the same Team, you will play in Story Mode. In this mode, in Stage 3, you will face a character who is stronger, and have a very strong endurance. You have only one round to beat him/her, but don't worry, if you loose, the game will continue as normal.

So what happen, if you defeat him/her ?
Depends on who you use, few stages will be skipped and immediately goes to stage 7 or 6.

Taiyo Team in Stage 3, you will face RAIZO. If you win, you go to Stage 6.
Gorin Team in Stage 3, you will face a chararcter from JUSTICE HS. If you win, you go Stage 7.
Pacific Team in Stage 3, you will face a chararcter from JUSTICE HS. If you win, you go Stage 7.
Gedo Team in Stage 3, you will face a character from GEDO HS. If you win, you go Stage 6.
Justice Team in Stage 3, you will face RAIZO. If you win, you go Stage 7.
HYO/RAIZO in Stage 3, you will face RAIZO/HYO. If you win, you will continue as normal.

Two Endings :

Note : In the Evolution Disk, you don't have the voice of the reader !

To see the short endings of the game : Go to Chapter 7 and beat Raizo and his partner without using a Team Up Attack.
To see the real endings of the game : Go to Chapter 7 and beat Raizo or his partner (or both) with a Team Up Attack. You'll face Hyo. Beat him to have the real endings and credits.

Extra Characters :

To have Hinata 2, just finish the game with Hinata.
To have Natsu 2, just finish the game with Natsu.
To have Tiffany 2, just finish the game with Tiffany.
To have Kyoko 2, just finish the game with Kyoko.

Edit Characters :

Note : Only in the Evolution Disk !

In the Evolution Disk, you can edit your characters :

First, you have to enter to school (the biggest button) to create or continue a character. You have to choose the Team of your character, his name, birthdate, what he likes, dislikes ... and his general looking.

So, you have to pass some tests with Hayato or to meet the other characters and to train yourself at sport or physical education to increase, 5 points :

Power (for your dammage level)
Stamina (for your life bar)
Speed (for your speed in combat)
Magic (for the Burning Vigor and Team Up Technique)
Friendship (for the best Team Up Technique)

When you finish to create your character, you will see the last ending in the game. It's a kind of making of the game. Then Kyoko ask you to choose your Team Up Technique. Don't forget to save you character, so you can use him in the game !!!

Just go to edit section (center button in the right colomn) and load your character to put him in the playable characters. To find him in the game choose the edit character icon and press right or left to scroll all your edit characters you had loaded.

Let see the series of Hayato's test :

The first serie of test : You have to do :
1. Step forward or Step backward (10 times)
2. Crounching or jumping (10 times)
3. Light punch or Strong punch (10 times)
4. Light kick or Strong Kick (10 times)
5. Mix of the 4 other tests in the serie (10 times)
The second serie of test : You have to do :
1. Dash forward or Dash backward (10 times)
2. Step Side forward or Side Step backward (10 times)
3. Crounching, Jumping, or Long jump (10 times)
4. Throw or Down throw (10 times)
5. Mix of the 4 other tests in the serie (10 times)
The third serie of test : You have to do :
1. Retaliation (5 times)
2. Stand up with front roll, back roll, side roll or without any roll (10 times)
3. Team Up Technique (2 times)
4. Combo of 2, 3 or 4 hits (10 times)
5. Mix of the 4 other tests in the serie (10 times)
The fourth serie of test : You have to do :
1. Air combo starter and one hit in the air (5 times)
2. Stand up with front roll and hit, back roll and hit, side roll and hit or without any roll and hit (10 times)
3. Tardy Counter (10 times)
4. Burning Vigor (5 times)
5. Mix of the 4 other tests in the serie (10 times)
The fifth serie of test : You have to do :
1. Long side step (10 times)
2. Throw counter (2 times)
3. Lithning counter hit (2 times)
4. Counter Burning Vigor (5 times)
5. Mix of the 4 other tests in the serie (10 times)
The final serie of test : You have to do :
1. Mix of tests in the first serie (10 times)
2. Mix of tests in the second and third serie (10 times)
3. Mix of tests in the fourth and fifth serie (10 times)
4. Mix of tests in all the series (10 times)
5. 30 hits (1 time)
