IGN got news from Square that FFVIII will incorporate the impressive engine found in the upcoming thrill shooter, Parasite Eve. This means, bigger, better looking characters and bigger worlds. Stay tuned in for the latest right here on Dexter's Final Fantasy VIII Page. 5/29/98 Final Fantasy VIII U.S. Release Date Officially Announced!! Today at the E3 convention, the release date was given for FFVIII which is around Fall/Winter 1998! This is certainly good news for many, plus Uematsu will still be composing the music, Sakaguchi will be producing, and Nomura will be doing character designs. The US version of Parasite Eve (September 1998) will contain a video of the game, and Brave Fencer Musashiden (November 1998) will contain a playable demo of the game!! More as new news comes along!
