This is an excellent game for running a one-shot adventure in. Creating characters can be quick, and most importantly combat resolves quickly. This book has a LOT of information in it. Amazingly, it has game stats and descriptions for EVERYTHING and EVERYONE seen in the six episodes of Bubblegum Crisis. This includes info, game stats, and beautifully done images. They are very detailed, and it is organized well. |

While the core game book contains everything you need to run the game, there is still more to the game universe. While the core game book covers everything seen in the first six episodes, it does not cover the AD Police videos nor the BubbleGum Crash! That's where this suppliment comes in, detailing EVERYTHING and EVERYONE seen in those episodes. That includes things that only came on for a moment in the background. It also has the cybernetics rules. |

Given the thoroughness of the previous two books, you might think that there was nothing left for a third book. But this book is still interesting. It gets its information from the rejected design sketches of the animators and from the comic books. Some of the stuff based on the rejected design sketches are just silly, but others would be of use for the Bubblgum Crossfire campaign setting. The information gleaned from the comic books I do recommend. Those designs have a sort of gritty realism that fills out some of devices in this game universe nicely. |
