Knifey Moloko

A local jazz band from Halifax, Knifey Moloko really turned my head. Besides a name that aludes to A Clockwork Orange, their music has a distinct 70's feeling. Whether this was intentional or not, I love their style. Only saw them live at the Kyber once, and the next day I went right out and bought their CD. I was that impressed by this eight memeber band! All of the tracks on the CD are instrumental, save one. Some of them are laid back and relaxing, but most of them are the kind that you just have to get up and dance to. Recommend this one, highly.Here's to that wicked night at the Kyber with Seth, Amber, Erin, Lynette, and the bunch.
