Pink Floyd

  • The Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
  • Wish You Were Here (1975)
  • Animals (1977)
  • The Wall (1979)
  • The Final Cut (1983)

Pink Floyd is in a class by itself. Just as listening music, it is deep and moving. Dark Side of the Moon is like an out of body experience accelerated through time. Wish You Were Here takes you along another surreal path with all nine parts of Shine On You Crazy Diamond. The double record album of The Wall is like no other Floyd. It is Roger Waters' brainchild, full of power, truth, and pain. It is from this album that I draw the theme for my home-page. The Final Cut is probably the closest in sound and subject to The Wall and the most intimate of all the Floyd albums I have. Describing Pink Floyd's sound is a very difficult task. The only way to truly know it is to listen to it. Anyone who has heard Pink Floyd will understand.

Thanks to Sam, Dave, the Peace A-Chord, Fred's, U.S.E., and the Curiosity Shop for helping me experience Pink Floyd.
