GO ON A GHOST HUNT
Kill all of the small boos on the first story.  Then go to the main room and fight
big boo.  Punch him three times to get the First star.


RIDE BIG BOO'S MERRY-GO-ROUND
In the room with the collapsing bridge, allow Mario to take the plunge into the pool
below.  The first door you see opens into the merry-go-round.  On one side, a jet of fire
streams out over the rotating platform.  Move in the other direction, keeping an eye out
for the small boos who emergefrom the pictures on the walls.  Keep killing them until
Big Boo appears.  Kill him to get a star.


SECRET OF THE HAUNTED BOOKS
Find a room with tons of books.  Go down the hall until you see 3 books sticking out
from the shelf.  Punch them in the following order,  center, left, and right.  The shelf in
front of you will move away and the star will be within your reach.


SEEK THE 8 RED COINS
Coin 1-  Behind the Mad Piano
Coin 2-  Along a narrow ledge
Coin 3-  On top of a book case
Coin 4-  Same as 3
Coin 5-  On the red grid
Coin 6-  Beneath a casket
Coin 7-  Same as 6
Coin 8-  Next to the trap door, upstairs

BIG BOO'S BALCONY
Go to the room with the trap door.  Look around and see if you can find a ledge above the
books.  Do a wall kick to get up there.  Next, go through the door and then go through the
double doors.  Punch Big Boo 3 times.  The star will fly to the top of the house.  You’ll
have to long jump to the dormer, then crawl along the roofs peak to reach the Star.


EYE TO EYE IN THE SECRET ROOM
Go to the same room as above.  Find the vanish cap in the adjacent room and run to the
roof like for Star 5.  Go through the picture of the ghost.  Spin around the Big Eye to
collect the last star.
