HAZY MAZE CAVE

SWIMMING BEAST IN THE CAVERN

To reach the subterranean lake, take the left branch of the corridor form the
course starting point.  Accurate Long Jumping will be essential to making over the Black
Hole.  Go to where the big rocks are falling from.  Find the door and go down the plat
form till you get to the lake.  Swim to the monster and get on it’s head, then steer it near
the island and jump on the island to get the star.

ELEVATE FOR 8 RED COINS

All the red coins are in the room with the three spiders and spining eyes.  They can be
easily reached with the moving platform.

METAL HEAD MARIO CAN MOVE

At the top of the tunnel that leads down to the Lake, grab the metal cap and hustle down
the brown trail on the ground to the purple switch. Don’t waste any time once you have
the metal cap!  Scince this switch is underwater, you will need to be wearing the metal
cap in order to step on it.  It will open the gate that covers the door to the Power Star. 
You’ll have to do a couple long jumps to get over the gaps and reach the star.

NAVIGATING THE TOXIC MAZE

Go to the toxic maze then look for a ledge with a door on it.  Do a double jump to get up
there.  If you see an elevator you went to the correct door.  If you don’t go to the other
door.  Go up the elevator to get the star.

A-MAZE-ING EMERGENCY EXIT

Go to the door in the Toxic Maze.  If you went in the correct door you should see a red
grid.  Climb across the grid to get to the floating island with the star. 

WATCH FOR ROLLING ROCKS

Go to the Black hole.  Then go to the source of the falling rocks.  You should see a metal
door now.  Do a couple wall kicks to reach the star.
