The drum is the heart beat of our people and our Mother Earth. This is what brings us all together into a pow wow arena. Without a drum group there would be no pow wow.
There are two different styles of singing and that is Northern and Southern.
Northern style of singing is sung with high pitch voices, while the Southern style of singing is low. Both of type singing have meaning to each song sung.
