Grand entry is the most beautiful sight you can experience at any pow wow. This is when all the dancers come into the arena and dance clock-wise to the beat of the drum.
In the grand entry there is the Staff Carrier who is honered by the pow wow committee to bring in the staff. Then comes the flags usually the United States of America flag, Canadian flag, State flag, and the tribes flag. Fallowed by the Veterines,Head Man, Head Women, Head Boy, Head Girl, Head Gourd Dancer,Royalties, Men's Catigories (usually Men's Traditional, Grass, and Fancy), Women's Catigories (usually Women's Traditional, Jingle, and Fancy), Teen Catigories, Junior Catagories, last but not least the back bone of all pow wow events, the ones who keep the traditon alive, the Tiny Tots.
All the dancers are brought into the arena by the songs sung by the Drum Group, singers attending this social gathering of all people.
