Star 1: Boil the Big Bully
(Recommended: Wing Cap)
To beat the bullies, push them into the lava before they push you.
From where you enter the course, Turn around, Long Jump, and put on the Wing Cap.
Head to the back center platform of the course, where the Big Bully is waiting for you.
Punch him into the lava and your star will appear on the bigger platform behind you and a bridge
will be erected. Cross the bridge quickly because if you don’t, it will collapse and dump you into the lava.

Star 2: Bully the Bullies
(Recommended: Wing Cap)
Get the Wing Cap (see Star 1). There are plenty of bullies all over the course,
but the ones you’re looking for are in the back right corner of the course.
There are 3 bullies waiting for you. Kill them and the Big Bully
will appear again. Beat him again for your Star!

Star 3: 8 Coin Puzzle With 15 Pieces
(Recommended: Wing Cap)
Get the Wing Cap (see Star 1). Fly towards the back of the course a little bit, and you will see the Puzzle.
Land on it and run around for around 20 seconds, and all 8 Red Coins should be in your pocket.
Star: Right next to the Puzzle.

Star 4: Red-Hot Log Rolling
(Required: Wing Cap)
After donning the Wing Cap, start flying towards the huge fence on the far right of the course.
It goes all the way to the ceiling, so you will have to go around it. Try to land on the platform
that’s around an inch above the ground; if you can’t, try to get to it when Mario is grabbing his
flaming behind. Walk to the other side of the log, and follow the small path to the Star!

Star 5: Hot-Foot-It into the Volcano
See that volcano in the center of the course? That’s right, go inside it. No, you won’t fry Mario
to death. After landing on the precariously small platform, make your way to the right up the inside
wall of the volcano. Watch out for bullies, unstable walls, and holes in the ground that will send you
flying into the lava pool at the bottom of the volcano. Towards the top, switch to Mario-Cam and
zoom far out with the C-Down button so you can jump from pole to pole with greater ease.
At the very top of the mountain is the Star!

Star 6: Elevator Tour in the Volcano
Head back into the volcano. This time go to the left. Ride on the Auto-Elevators until you get to the pole in the
middle of the volcano. Watch out for the spinning Fire Bar. Climb the pole and get to the Star!

Star 7: Shell Shredding For 100 Coins
(Required: First Four Stars)
Access Star 5 or 6. Go to the edge of the first platform, where the Shiny Shell is waiting for you in
a "!" block. Shred around the lava and collect all the coins you see. Remember the 8 Red coins
(=16 Yellow Coins); and when the Puzzle is complete (revealing a picture of Bowser), a whole
slew of coins will appear. As usual, the Star appears above your head.
