6'2" 220lbs atop this massive frame is a head of flowing black hair with a look as wild as his eyes. Eyes that seem to look just beyond the moment, to the next time glory will be won. Goiko's expression is one of trouble. Thoughts of duty and honor show on his heavy brow. Yet, behind these thoughts there is a confidence that can be found almost threating, the confidence of his teacher...Akodo Kage.
In his obi, Goiko has tucked the sword of the Topaz Champion. A very finely crafted diasho, that was presented to him by Doji Satsume, in front of the Emperor himself. His armor is light and colored with the black and silver of Raven clan. Goiko rides a black horse with a white star on its face.
Goiko led the Raven clan troops while they followed Lion Clan into battle with the Crane. He was instrumental during the Battle of Swan Creek. After the battle, he got into a duel with Matsu Hijoke, one of Matsu Agetoki's Lieutenants, he was struck down, and unconcious for the Raven Clan victory at the Battle of Crying Souls Lake. Goiko has lost morale since then, sorley disapointed that he rushed into a duel, and more disapointed that he could no be at his rightful place in the fron of the Raven Clan Army.
Matsu Hijoke waits at the Raven Lands for Zajiro to return, ashamed of the duel he provoked Goiko into, he searched for a way to redeem himself.
Goiko had a large measure of confidence returned when he successfully led an assualt of the ruins of Hiruma Castle and aided the Hare clan scion regain his family's ancestral Blade.
Goiko is presently engaged to Tora Akemi, only Daughter of the Tiger Clan Daimyo. Thier marriage will seal an alliance between the Raven and the Tiger.
