Meatloaf

Meatloaf is big and furry. And not very pretty. Bred and trained by Ork Scorchers, Meatloaf was present during a raid on a trade caravan when The Blades of Dawn arrived, liberating him, not to mention many of his brothers and sisters. After that time, he became Rutegur's noble steed.

Meatloaf earned his title in the battle against the Horror Duaga. The Blades had followed the trail of destruction the Horror left until they caught up to it. Moving to engage it, Rutegur and Meatloaf charged, only to have the Horror terrify Meatloaf with magical fear. Meatloaf turned and charged in the opposite direction, Rutegur clinging helplessly to his back. Despite Rutegur's best efforts, his mount would not be calmed, but the raging battle was dwindling behind them. Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Rutegur kicked Meatloaf in the head. Maybe he got a little carried away(!), as the kick not only turned Meatloaf around, but also wounded him in the process. The two returned to the battle and after a few tusk attacks, Meatloaf scored the killing blow on the Horror. We believe he is the only Dyre to ever slay one.
