Magic Armaments

In many cases below, armour and weapons are listed as a specific type - a broadsword or whatever. There is no reason that they must be used as such, of course. They can be presented as magical items in whatever form the GM wishes. However, it adds to the atmosphere of the game if the listed damage or protection differs between items with similar powers but different forms. To aid in conversions, therefore, armour and weapons described below generally have their active points listed as X + Y points. In each case the first value is that of the weapon or armour type described. Thus a magical broadsword can be converted to a magical axe or dagger, or magical chain mail to leather or plate armour simply by inserting the appropriate active cost and figuring the difference in real points (if needed) from that listed. Note also that most of the magical weapons below do not have STR minimums - they are so light that anyone can wield them and add the appropriate damage for their STR.


In the list below, many items are listed with a note (such as FHC92) given in parentheses. This means the item in question is described in a Hero Games publication. The publications in questions are:
