Short and squat, Tsuburu's barrel-chested frame holds awesome power - he has mastered the art of draining his opponent's Ki by Kiai, which combined with his skill in Kempo has made him a feared combatant. When using his Kiai, it is a low-pitched, almost unendurable roaring which drains the target's strength, and if continued, can even cause him to collapse. However, it is extremely wearying for Tsuburu to project his Ki this way and he needs a period of quiet meditation to repeat the feat. He serves the monastery as the abbot's bodyguard and has become his confidant as well.
