Liu Hui was the wandering taoist mystic who led Pak Ho into the
study of the occult arts - he had as little idea of what he was
getting into as his patron and was similarly shattered. He feels,
however that the demonic life he is living now is his punishment for
his bad acts - he is therefore wallowing in being as evil as his
imagination permits.
Liu Hui dresses in a scruffy and nondescript fashion, using
whatever comes to hand. He has a thin beard and a small skewed
topknot that is badly in need of oiling and brushing. His lack of
personal distinction is more than compensated for by his combat
technique. The sole piece of magic he has mastered is the ability to
externalise his Ch'i. This lets him wreathe his hands or body with a
bluish crackling flame, almost like lightning. One favoured technique
is to form this energy into a staff-like form. Either way, it is an
awesome technique, even if somewhat draining to use.
