Lunar : Silver Star Story

Lunar...... I've never played this game before you know. It's preety popular anyway, starting from the Genesis (I think) and the SEGA CD. Is this the 3^rd sequel or the second?
You play as Alex, a young teen who wants to be a Dragonmaster & stop some kind of world domination, accompanied by his friends. Preety familiar topic? I dunno. The one thing i'm very interested is the anime!! I'll sure buy this one!.
