It's Easier Than You Think

Building your own computer can be as easy as making pasta. In a lost of ways it is cheaper, and you don't have to worry about all of the rebates or getting system devices that you dont want or wanted something better of. When building a computer, you buy the exact pieces of hardware you want, and then you put it all together.

Before you go to purchase your parts, you first need to figure a few things out.

Checklist

Following these simple steps will save you a lot of trouble.

Another thing that you have to be sure of is that you have all of the parts to make your sustem work. These parts are essential for a system to run.

Checklist

But of course you can always get the extras to make your system the best it can be. These along with many other external devices make your computer super-charged.

Now the next thing you want to do is put together the basic parts of your computer together: The case and power supply, mainboard, CPU, RAM, video card, floppy frive and keyboard. This way you can insure that these devices are in good running order (because if they weren't, you could damage some of your parts!) Once you have your basic sustem up and running, proceed by putting the harddrive into your system (also your CD-ROM if your OS is on a CD). It is good to do this first so that you can get your Operating System running and so you wont be bombarded my several hardware instalations. Once you have your OS installed, install your video card drivers when prompted. After this, shut your computer down, and begin putting the rest of your devices in your system one at a time. Again, this way you wont be bombarded by software installations.
