-----The Dread Pirate then thoroughly searches Woder, cutting off all his clothing and leaving him lying completely naked on the cold stone floor, still bound of course. Gimplefwick then searches around the keep until he finds a large supply of lamp oil. He then, humming a happy halfling work song, liberally douses Woder in the oil. He leaves a trail of oil about twenty feet long, leading from him to Woder. "Now Woder, lamp oil burns fairly slowly, but not too slowly if ye get me meaning. Ye'll have a few seconds to decide whether or not to be sociable and tell us everything ye know. After that, well, I hear burning to death is a nasty way to go. And don't go thinkin that yer indispensable to us either. After all, we found you, didn't we? I imagine that we can find yer friends as easily. Besides which, we have over half yer soldiers prisoner. I'm sure that one of 'em will be more forthcoming than you. And if not, at least I get the pleasure o' toastin me dinner over yer ashes." The Dread Pirate then douses Woder's clothing in water, prepared to throw them in the path of burning oil, or not as Woder decides. He then grins merrily at Woder and drops a torch on the smear of oil.
-----Raven looks over Sol’s shoulder and sees Dread working on setting Woder on fire. Raven begins to move towards Dread to stop him, but then Raven stops and watches. Raven frowns and says in a low tone to Sol, "He wouldn't really do it, would he?"
-----Curiously, Woder silently endures the Dread Pirate’s abuse. As his clothes are cut from him, the villain shuts his eyes and laughs. As Gimplefwick begins to drop the torch, Woder looks up at Sarah once again and says, "Forgive me, my dear, for my current embarrassment, but the foolish halfling does not find me ‘indispensable’. I am sorry to say that when my . . . associates find me dead, they may feel the same way toward your young Gorian gem cutter. What was his name? Rupay? Rupal? Ah, yes, his name, I believe was Repe’." The fiendish look in Woder’s eyes pick up the glow of the fire as more of the oil catches and heads toward his prone body.
-----Sol just looks back at Raven and returns, "I honestly don't care." Sol then proceeds to fish around in one of his pockets. Quickly finding what he's looking for, the Gorian pulls out the writ and hands it over to Raven.
-----Sol leaves Raven's side and coldly strides over to Woder. Before the fire reaches the man, Sol grips him by the hair, jerks his head back and whispers to him. This is promptly followed by Sol unceremoniously shoving Woder's head into the ground. He then stands up and returns to Raven's side, unconsciously trying to shake the light covering of oil off his hands.
-----Seth looks from Woder to Sarah. " So who is this Repe guy anyway? I thought he was just a free loader or possibly an individual of ill repute. Someone that does not matter if they happen to die in the cause that has caused the death of so much human and elf blood. One Gorian more won't matter, will it?"
-----Kazel lets the others do the questioning, and instead heads off to the back of the hall. "Hey, when you're done, just be sure he's not coming back as a zombie. And oh, maybe he keeps a diary too. You never know with these folks..."
-----She then goes to one side of the fireplace and drags out the cowering cook back to the rest of the group, and proceeds to tie him up solidly as well.
-----Already soured by Woder's presence, Sol growls at Seth's last sentence. He gives the bard a dark look, before shaking himself out of it.
-----Seth looks at Sol and shrugs his shoulders with an apologetic look on his face.
-----Raven sighs and then walks forward towards Woder. Raven stops when he is between the fire and Woder. He then looks at Sarah to see if she wants him to stop the fire.
-----The Dread Pirate glances at Woder, "I'm afraid I don't know any Repe. He doesn't really matter to me. Foolish halfling, eh? I'm not the one about to get sauteed, am I? Let me know when you get warm enough to say something useful."
-----The cook sobs as Kazel brings him forth to tie him up. "Spare my life," he whimpers pitifully.
-----Meanwhile, Woder looks up from the floor toward the vengeful halfling pirate. A bit of blood flows slowly from the villain’s nose after having his head shoved by Sol.
-----"Did I say that I would not tell you what you want to know? I can do this, but what assurance do you give me that you will not kill me? No, I wish to barter for my life unless everyone here in this room can tell me that the life of the innocent Gorian means naught! For have him, they do! And killing him, they will do if their plans are meddled with! If I am to turn tail on those who worship the Dark Goddess, from that point on, you as my foes would be the least of my worries. My life for his! If you wish to know all and save as many of your pathetic innocents as you wish, you will secure my safety. For when you do find the dark ones, I shall be the least of your worries," Woder pauses and looks around.
