-----Runik then looks back at Seth and the Dread Pirate. "How's soon we goes lookin' fer ol' Ozzy o' th' lady ye be a'talkin' 'bout?" the dwarf asks somewhat excitedly.
-----Kazel lazes on a couch eating some breakfast. Between munches she comments, "You know, they are right next door, so we can just walk over now and save a trip to that other Inn. They like unannounced visits."
-----The Dread Pirate nods in agreement, "Aye, who doesn't like an unannounced visitor? It's sort of like Festivus, the halfling holiday of gift giving, celebration, feats of strength, and the traditional airing of grievances. But since we're not all halflings, maybe we should have Runik go over and announce us and request a meeting. That seems more civilized."
-----"They be next door?" Runik says looking inquisitively at Kazel and then at the Dread Pirate. "Ye talkin' 'bout a room next t' ours here?"
-----Suddenly the dwarf begins to whisper as if his voice might carry through the walls. "Mayhaps I be takin' Krord wi' me jest in case they be a bit shady since they have Ozzy n' all. Wheres ye be needin' me to be sayin' you'll be a'meetin' wi' 'em at? And, um, what's this here lady's name?"
-----The Dread Pirate shrugs expansively and replies, "Aye, Runik is correct. If we're goin to have ourselves announced we should have a name fer our adventurin company. So that we can strike fear into the hearts of our enemies and be reknowned throughout the lands. And if we're reknowned throughout the lands, then we can demand higher wages fer our jobs. We should be known as the Bloody Boots gang, or the Company of the Cruciform Ligament, or somethin like that. Personally, I like the Company of the Cruciform Ligament. It has a certain air to it. A sort of panache if you will."
-----The Dread Pirate looks at the other, "What do ye think? Should we have a name fer our little band of intrepid wanderers and scalawags?"
-----Krord scratches his head as if pondering this new proposal. The little girl giggles as she climbs into Kazel's lap.
-----"Yer sure ye don' be a'wantin' sumthin' short fer peoples wit' short minds t' 'member like the Gutshakers?" Runik asks. The dwarf then sobers and adds, "Jest a s'gestion," before listening to his employers.
-----Seth shrugs and says, "Well I guess it is being known as a group of people dedicated to the ... " He now pauses and considers his words carefully. "... Umm, things in the ground, growing. things....."
-----Just then, Marast appears at the door somewhat startling those within. Quickly the raggedy looking elf blurts out, "Marast see guards that carry chair last night. They carry chair out in village."
-----The elf then quickly moves to leave and returns to guard the wagon in the stables.
-----The Dread Pirate jumps to his feet, saying, "Well, I guess we'll all go down to the village and see what's going on with our erstwhile employer. We can discuss the name of our band another time."
-----The Dread Pirate heads towards the room's exit, intending to brace their new employer.
-----Everyone follows the Dread Pirate out of the room except for Brandel. As the rogues move along the hallway toward the lobby room of the elegant inn, they see the grayish light of day through the large windows in the front room.
-----As they enter the lobby room, a short man dressed in fine clothing stands behind a desk and casts a suspicious eye toward the rogues.
-----Making their way toward the large windows, the rogues can see out into the village where a few villagers are seen strolling out among the buildings. Toward the center of the village green, there walk the four servants with the canopied sedan chair held aloft between them. The warrior walks along beside them, this time on foot heading away from the inn.
-----Someone clears their throat impatiently behind the rogues and as they turn they see the man behind the desk studying them with a frown on his face. "Can I help you?" he simply asks with a bit of disgust in his voice.
-----Krord puts his finger in his mouth as he looks down at his employers. The little girl hides and peers out from behind Kazel while Runik looks at the man with a strange wide grin.
-----The Dread Pirate gazes at the man condescendingly and replies, "Yes, actually, ye can help me. Ye can tell me who that lady is with the sedan chair. Or me gigantic friend Krord here will show ye the wonders of defenestration. From the top floor o' this dingy little inn."
-----"How dare you?!" the man says angrily. Suddenly the massive arm of Krord reaches across and grabs the man by the back of his collar. The half-orcish mercenary then hoists the man up and over the desk. As he is carried over the top of the desk, the man's eyes bulge and he makes gagging noises before Krord deposits him on the floor in front of the Dread Pirate.
