Name: Avvin Darrst
Age: 29
Home Planet: Coruscant
Sex: Male
Species: Human
Role: Rogue Imperial Agent

Personal History: Avvin Darrst was born in the bustling metropolis known as Coruscant, and though details of his past are sketchy it is known that he excelled as a student...and more or less everything else. He was the best pilot in his area, a superb marksman and a charming socialite among his high-class family. He was a shoe-in at the Imperial Naval Academy, and soon proved his excellence even in his competetive class. Though he made friends with classmates Cecil Dubreas (later known as Zolar) and Deken Klind (later known as Dex), Avvin was driven by a determination to succeed that surpassed the bonds of friendship. Unfortuanetly, Avvin was afflicted with a mental disorder, one that he carefully hid behind his trusting face. His life of being top of the class had given him an enormous ego, and he developed a massive inferiority complex. This grew as his life at the Academy grew harder, and he began to become psychotic about others doing better than he was (though he carefully hid it from the Imperial psychologists). He began sabotaging others in his attempt to become the top of his class. This was all in vain, however, as former friend Deken Klind achieved valedictorian. Even though Avvin was salutorian and was already being offered a position in the extremely prestigous 181st Fighter Squadron, Avvin was determined to kill Deken for the slight. He never got the chance, as Deken went AWOL a mere week after graduation.

Avvin moved on, joining the 181st as they flew the prototype TIE Interceptors. He became well liked by the leader, the legendary fighter pilot Baron Soontir Fel. However, his amazing piloting skill and diplomatic ways could not save him after one training exercise, in which a wingman stole his kill in a simulation, and Avvin proceeded to beat the poor pilot to the brink of death. In the resulting investigation, Baron Fel put his support behind Avvin, and Avvin was let off with a warning. However, he was also transferred out of the 181st, to an organization he was also suited for; the ISB. Though he maintained honorary status in the 181st, Avvin resented his new position. He was assigned to perform undercover work, infiltrating criminal organizations to both break them up, and to search for possible Rebel cells.

Avvin was wildly successful in this new line of duty, cracking 3 major syndicates in his first year. However, he requested that he be allowed to work deep undercover, with only bi-monthly reports to ISB headquarters. This was granted to him. However, the real reason he requested this was not to perform his job more effectively; it was to escape the Imperials altogether. Now essentially free to wander the underworld as he saw fit, Avvin took out his aggressions on anything he could; he would infiltrate an organization and whimsically cause chaos, ruining the lives of hundreds for his personal pleasure. His piloting and marksmanship skills also earned him fame in the underworld for several years, though those who got near him would likely face turnmoil in the future.

Avvin's life majorly changed when he infiltrated Vigo Sprax's organization, under the auspices of Vigo Lonay. While spreading his own brand of backstabbing chaos, he ran into one of Sprax's expeditors, one Torill Hendyker. Realizing that Torill's skills matched his own, Avvin became viciously jealous of the former smuggler. After Lonay was toppled, Avvin began tailing Torill, attacking him whenever possible. The two developed a vicious rivalry.

As the New Republic pushed its way towards Coruscant, Avvin was called back to the Core worlds to become a reserve for the 181st in their new TIE Defenders. However, in between training sessions, Avvin worked as an agent for the Council of Moffs, becoming involved with their plan to overthrow Sate Pestage (and was assigned to work with former classmate, and friend of Torill, Moff Zolar). After Zolar defected, Avvin worked closely with Imperial Intelligence Ysanne Isard to bring Zolar to "justice," as well as to catch Torill when he could.

However, in the end, Avvin could not defeat Torill. After a running battle with Zolar on Tarshon, a wounded Avvin and Torill faced off in the depths of the Rameseum M4...and only one walked out. Avvin died with surprise that his finely honed skills finally failed him against one who seemed to posess only luck.

Personality: Avvin, when he is sane, is quite charming and diplomatic, with many social graces. He is even this way around enemies when he knows he can't attack...however, one can tell the cool malice and danger lurking beneath his often cryptic words. When he is attacking, he is almost always cool headed, displaying a playfulness and whimsicality that is an odd match with the ferocity of his attacks.  However, when he loses his temper, he is clumsy, barbaric, and extremely violent. He thoroughly enjoys ruining other people, and during his stint in the underworld often went out of his way to harrass, backstab, and betray people who put their trust in him. All in all, he is an extremely unbalanced person.

Appearance: Avvin has a messy head of blonde hair, and striking blue eyes. He either wears a gray tunic covered by a reddish mexican-style cloak (actually a stun cloak) and fingerless gloves, or an Imperial agent's uniform (depending if he is directly working for the Imperials or not). He always wears an enigmatic, cool smile...one that often twitches and breaks right before he goes beserk.
